Excellent location. Close to city centre. Clean, comfortable and had everything we needed.

This is one of those "I could live here" places. Felt at home from the off. Which is even better, given the last minute personal issues we faced before setting off. Warm and comfy. It suited our needs for the 3 nights we were there. Ideally situated for shops, restaurants cafes etc. Big Supermarket was a short walk as well. Surprisingly quiet given the location. Note: We had no problems, but, the living areas are 2nd & 3rd floor. So you have to go down a level Everytime you go out. The ground floor is a large entrance, with lots of storage for cases, prams, wheel chair etc. there's a toilet and a TV sitting area. This level is colder than the living parts. But I bet in summer it's nice and cool to sit in. Maybe a couple of extra small chairs wouldn't go amiss. Will definitely be coming again.

just what we need when working away from home

StaysYork took our full payment and did not allow us to access the property on our check in date. We paid for a stay starting on 27 August 2023, and were not given the check in information until the next day, with no apologies or reimbursement for the night we could not use (£114 per night). 27th August was a Sunday, their phone lines were unavailable and we had to pay for an expensive last-minute hotel night as we didn't have the access information to the property. I have sent over 10 emails to their staff members and even visited their office in person to seek reimbursement, and have received NO response from them. This is a disgrace and we feel cheated, and horribly neglected by the staff and management at StaysYork. I have booked their properties on several occasions and feel shocked to be treated with us disregard. I will never use their services again.

Our 5th. stay at this fantastic property, ideally situated minutes from the city walls, with a supermarket close by. Perfect place for visiting York!

Ideal location just 2 minutes walk to the city. Off-road parking space and a supermarket nearby. Our 4th. stay at this property and will definitely be back!

The York Hampers welcome pack was great. Everything was clean, well appointed and comfortable, with lots of crockery and glasses so that we didn't need to keep putting on the dishwasher!. The location was perfect for visiting central York.

Our second stay, we have visited York many times before and this is now our favourite property, ideally located just outside the city walls. Would definitely recommend!

It was very homey and comfortable, I really enjoyed my stay there and I would be sure to use stays York again

this townhouse is in a excellent location with good facilities, easy walking distance to all attractions and plenty of choice for restuarants and pubs.
