Behind the electronic gate sits this lovely two bedroom property. There is an allocated parking space right next to the house, where you can comfortably park up and given the proximity to the City, you wont need to move it again until you leave.
When you walk into the property you are greeted by a light bright living space and a well equipped kitchen that has everything that you will need to prepare a meal, if you aren't heading out into the City to enjoy one of the many places for dining out. It has a dining table to seat all four people which is set near the french windows, leading out to a very private patio area where you can enjoy alfresco dining, a glass of wine or your morning cup of coffee.
The comfortable seating area is perfect for settling down for an evening in front of the smart TV.
There is also the added convenience of a downstairs cloakroom.
On the first floor there are two lovely bedrooms, the master bedroom has a small balcony, just big enough for two people to sit with their morning coffee, planning the adventures for the day ahead. Both have plenty of storage space and comfortable beds, ensuring a great nights sleep, leaving you ready for the day ahead!
The Master bedroom has an ensuite shower room and then the family bathroom has a bath with a shower over, plenty of facilities for preparing for a night out in York, day at the Races, or a day spent browsing the Designer Outlet which is only an 8 minute drive away from this well placed, well equipped property.

Great little place to stay in York

Grooms cottage was easy to find, in a quiet location just behind a small park but with easy access into the City. It was very modern with all appliances you need and clean and tidy. Comfy beds, nice en-suite to a very large master bedroom. Great bonus is the allocated parking space for one car as the street has no parking. One small negative comment for us was the outside area with table and chairs had not been prepared at all which was disappointing as the sun was out on arrival but we soon sorted this with a brush and cleaned the table and chairs down with soap and water. Overall a lovely place to stay when visiting friends and family in the beautiful city of York.
