Basic amenities lacking
There were several aspects of the stay that left us with the feeling that the host hasn't given adequate consideration to the guest, but is more concerned with the profitability of the enterprise. Is it too much to ask that the suite include shampoo and other bathroom essentials? Every other place we stayed provided them. By not providing such basic amenities, we are obliged to go out and buy full-sized bottles, which in any case we can't easily carry on our travels and certainly not for overseas travels. The room was very warm and as we could not open the window, we were obliged to leave the door open to get fresh air. Why can't the kitchen be stocked with enough coffee and milk to reflect the length of stay and number of guests? This applies likewise to towels in the bathroom, which were enough for a night or two but our stay was long enough that having a second towel would have made our stay more enjoyable. I think that to gain a higher score, you need to re-evaluate your offering from the guest's point of view. A lot can be done to improve the quality with only a marginal increase to your overhead.
