Cosy and convenient in an excellent location

Two-night stay for a dinner at the nearby Grand Hotel. Location perfect, everything is walkable. Easy access, flat was clean and tidy on arrival. Comfortable bed in loft-type room. We didnt cook at all or use anything in the kitchen except the kettle but it all looked well-equipped. There was some noise from late-night revellers in the passage way beneath the bedroom window but zero traffic noise. Recommend Café Fleur in adjacent Micklegate for breakfast. And Left Luggage at the station (5 mins walk) if you need to stow luggage after check-out.
Brilliant stay
York race days
Great apartment in York City Centre

We arrived at the apartment a little earlier than expected but communicating with someone was easy and in fact you get a text message to let you know as soon as the apartment is ready for you. I did find it a little confusing that the Falcon Inn wasnt actually part of the stay and that the pub itself was separate. The ad lead me to think the apartments were part of the pub. This didnt deter and in fact I liked that getting access into the property was from a quieter road. It was in an ideal location with a short walk (5 minute if that) to the bridges over the river & main shopping area. Also lovely places to eat & drink only one minute walk away. Weather was hot on our visit and the apartment was warm but two fans were supplied and open windows meant it was manageable. The apartment was comfortable and although we stayed for only 3 nights and ate breakfast out so the kitchen wasnt used much its ideal for a longer stay, the washing machine was handy too. The shower was very good and property clean throughout. Wed definItely recommend the property for couples and wed visit again in future.
Very clean, great location, would book again.
Bank Holiday weekend in Falcon Tap Apartment #4

Stayed at the Falcon Tap apartments over the last May bank holiday weekend while visiting York. Location was great being right near the station, and within 5-15 mins walk to all of my tour pickups/locations to visit. Apartment 4 is on the 3rd/top floor and so does get a bit warm being in the roof, the windows were all open when i arrived and these stayed open throughout my stay to keep the airflow. There was a small desk fan which was used, that would be my only suggestion - getting a bigger fan. Right next door to a pub, but on both Friday/Saturday evenings the pub closed by midnight and by 10pm on Sunday nights, so i had no issue with sleeping (I'm a light sleeper). All in all a great stay at a great apartment, if I ever visit York again, I'll be back to stay.
