A well positioned property set on a quiet street yet still just a 10 minute walk into York city centre. The property also benefits from off street parking for one car.
Upon entering the property you will find the kitchen on your right. A light and airy space complete with central island, granite worktops and all the amenities you'd expect to find on a property of this quality. There is also dining space at the rear of the kitchen to seat 6 for dinner.
Moving through into the main living area you will find a large wall mounted LCD TV complete with complimentary Netflix. There is plenty of comfortable seating with 2 large sofas and an occasional chair. The room also features a second dining space that can seat 8. The ground floor of the property also has a separate toilet.
Externally there is a private garden with a patio area that can accommodate 8 people for enjoying the summer sunshine.
On the first floor there is a spacious room containing a super king size bed that can be set as twin bed on request. this bedroom also has the lovely benefit of an ensuite containing a bath with over head shower. The second bedroom on this floor has a king size bed. The main house bathroom is also on this floor and features a bath and separate shower.
The top floor of the house features a large king size bedroom complete with shower ensuite. There is also a double room on the top floor too.

Very comfortable, clean and well-equipped house. Lots of bathrooms. Good location, easy walking distance from city Centre on a quiet leafy road.
Well-located accommodation

This was a really well located property, which offered flexibility on the number of people it could accommodate. There were a few issues with the property; the downstairs cloakroom toilet seat was broken when we arrived, and the top of the hot tap in the same bathroom was loose. Unfortunately, there may have been a problem with the plumbing as the pipes could be very noisy and the top floor shower could not drain away, meaning that the shower tray filled up very quickly with water. I would suggest that the kitchen equipment could have been improved upon (e.g. no serving spoons, serving bowls, and a caffetierve that only held 3 cups of coffee). However, the house suited our purposes well and we had a very good time there.

Review of the Beech Tree House

Pros: Absolutely gorgeous home with some of the nicest bedrooms I have seen on a quiet street. I loved the high ceilings and large windows as well as having access to three bathrooms (plus another half bathroom). This place is perfect for families and the kitchen is very well equipped, especially once a broom and new pots were provided to replace the damaged ones. The cleaning services are excellent, though some deep cleaning would be helpful (i.e., inside kitchen cupboards and dealing with cobwebs on the high ceilings). Perhaps a couple more bins would be useful in the home (there is only one bin for rubbish for the whole house, in the kitchen). I would be happy to stay in this house for longer, if it were available. Location is excellent, close to shops and the city center. Showers are excellent. Heating is fine, but the radiators in the living room don't heat well -- maybe they need to be bled? I would definitely like to return to this house for future stays! Cons: unfortunately, there is a problem with the washing machine. It keeps re-filling with water, following a load of washing (typically a day or two after) and the smell is very unpleasant (eau-de-sewage). This problem needs to be fixed by a professional. Stays York gave me 'deep clean' product but this will not fix a systemic problem. The TV also had multiple problems, disconnecting from the Internet, channels not working, signing out of Netflix. These two issues are not enough for me to dissuade me from leaving the beautiful home, but it would be great to fix these relatively minor issues. Stays York doesn't always respond as promptly as they perhaps could, but the people working there have always been very nice and helpful.
