This lovely York property is situated in a quiet part of the City yet it is only a short distance to so many of the highlights. You are only a 6 minute drive to the world renowned York Racecourse, 10 minutes walk to York Minster, 6 minutes walk to Bishy Road, with all its Bars, cafes and Delis that are so popular and just a short stroll to the city centre of York with so many fantastic things to do and see.
The house has a beautiful cosy lounge to the front, with comfortable sofas into which you can settle down in front of the smart TV for a night in with your favourite movie and a glass of something lovely. The kitchen/diner comfortably seats 6 people for that much anticipated holiday breakfast, or a home delivery if you just cant be bothered! There is another comfortable seating area here which also has a smart TV. The kitchen/diner leads out into a private courtyard, with seating available for your morning cup of coffee, or your pre dinner drinks.
Upstairs there are two double bedrooms and the family bathroom, complete with a roll top bath and a walk in shower. On the top floor there is a further bedroom with two single beds.
There is on street permit parking for one car with the property.
Whether for a weekend or a week, this property is perfect for a trip to York, situated in a quite part of town and yet so close to everything that you would want to visit in the beautiful City of York for.

Beautifully decorated and a perfect size for our party of 5 (4 adults and a 3 year old). Great location for all tourist destinations including Rowntree Park. Some lovely details such as the rainfall shower and roll top bath, egg chair in the garden, and 2 sitting room areas. Our 3yo used the front room as a play room whilst the adults used the kitchen living room. It was a warm week whilst we were there, and the house definitely reflected that. Unfortunately some of the windows didn't want to stay open, but the fans provided for the bedrooms were appreciated. A few things missing in the kitchen but these were reported to StaysYork so hopefully these will be rectified. Overall a fantastic base for our week long stay in York.

Very lovely stay in this beautiful home. It is in a great location and just a small walk to the city centre. The road itself Is lovely and quiet. Very clean and spacious. Definitely recommend!
Lovely family holiday

We are a family of 5 (2 adults, 3 children under 10) and we had a lovely stay at No. 8. The loft conversion provided a great space for the kids to hide away and there was plenty of space in the whole house not to be on top of each other. Comfy beds and sofas, very clean and tidy, just a lovely place to stay. We didn't use our car during our stay as the house is a short walk away from the city centre and a stones throw from the city walls. We would defintely recommend this house.
