Beautiful apartment in great location

We stayed as a family of 4 adults. The apartment was really beautiful, very bright a super layout. Everything in the living/kitchen area was just perfect. The not so positive would be the bedrooms. The mattress on both beds was truly awful, a very cheap foam like mattress and none of us slept well either nights due to this. Because if this we would choose one of the other Stays York apartments in the same building as we have stayed in 2 others that werent available for our dates and they had extremely comfortable beds and we all had a blissful sleep in those. The hairdryer in the main bedroom isn't working properly, it's blowing cold air on all settings, thankfully both bedrooms had its own hairdryer so I was able to use the one from our sons bedroom and it worked fine. Thats just a note for the management company so they can replace this. To sum things up - would we stay in 407 again? Yes we would in a heartbeat if we knew that the mattresses had been replaced, they truly let the otherwise luxurious feel of the apartment down. If they werent replaced then no we wouldnt choose to stay in apartment 407 again unfortunately.

Modern apartment on 4th floor of Ryedale House, all shops and most attractions were within a 30 minute walk. Apartment was well equipped although we couldn't find any scissors! Helpful concierge on check-in.

Really lovely apartment, easy walk into town and parking included. The minus was the mattresses need replacing as springs pinged with every move. Also the tiles in the bathroom need a good scrub/treatment as going mouldy.

Really nice apartment and well located to the city centre
The apartment itself is very secure and was spacious enough for 4 people it was spotlessly clean and the location of the apartment was excellent to York city centre
