This fantastic 3 bedroom house has been beautifully furnished to reflect the character of the house, its comfortable lounge with wood burning stove, flat screen TV and cosy sofa's, is perfect for snuggling down for a family film night when you would rather just stay in.
The fully fitted kitchen where you can prepare delicious dinners, filling holiday breakfasts or preparing a family BBQ, has everything that you need, you can then sit down together in either the traditional breakfast room or the gorgeous dining room, both of which have been furnished in a way that can only enhance your stay. There is a luxurious bathroom downstairs where a bath and walk in shower provide a feeling of indulgence, this, coupled with the beautiful walk in shower on the first floor, ensure that whether it is a family holiday or a friends break away, everyone is looked after!
Upstairs there are three beautifully finished bedrooms, the master bedroom with its four poster bed, even has its own sitting area, the perfect hideaway for those precious moments of peace! There is also a lovely twin room and a further double - all with wonderful comfy beds, just perfect for recharging your batteries, ready for exploring Bishy Road which is minutes’ walk away, the City centre only a 10 minute stroll away, the York outlet is a short bus ride away and the famous York Races a 4 minute car ride.

We stayed for 4 days in York, its a great place - very walkable to the city centre. The house is very big, which was awesome for our group & we had ample space to work remotely. Wifi is good too. We got a welcome hamper which was a kind gesture! 10/10 recommend.

Door keypad so key collection not required. Central location, close to amenities and only 10 minutes walk from the station. Quality of the property exceeded expectations, decor is fabulous, welcome goody bag was just an extra additional joy!

Lovely house which has been beautifully decorated in keeping with the age of the property. Location was good for getting in to the city centre which was about a 10 minute walk. There are a few nice cafe/bar/restaurants at the end of the road as well as a couple of food shops which are very convenient. The house is also not far from the rail station and there is a car park just along the road. The house itself is very comfortable, especially the beds, and there is a nice outside space with garden furniture to enjoy which we made the most of, however the garden can be quite noisy as there is a busy road circling the house front and back. This also meant that we couldnt have the windows open at night as the noise of the traffic was quite disturbing. The road also means there is no way of packing or unpacking your car outside the property and the lack of parking meant a hefty additional charge for the weekend as we had two cars with us. Apart from the negatives, I would recommend the property to anyone looking for a nice property for a family get together.
Wonderful house in a fabulous location

Our family stayed here for a special birthday weekend. The house overlooked the historic walls, had some wonderful bars, restaurants and amenities on the doorstep and was a short walk into the city centre with all it has to offer. Despite being located on a busy road to the front and to the rear, the house was quiet and peaceful. The outside space was private and provided a lovely space to enjoy the last of the summer sun and gave space for play. Inside the house was clean and spacious with a modern but homely feel and some personal, luxurious finishing touches which made our stay relaxing and the house lovely to spend time in.

Gorgeous house with lots of character, very comfortable, clean and well-equipped. The owners have clearly put a lot of thought into what guests might need and into making their stay enjoyable and fun. Very comfortable beds and bedding. Well-situated for both chain and independent food shops and cafes and restaurants. Quick and easy to walk into the town centre. We loved it!

Had a fantastic stay at this property, beautiful decor & excellent additional items included such as teas, coffee pods, pasta & wood for the fire. Great location however parking isnt the best for unloading luggage. Will definitely use stays again, very friendly, polite staff which go the extra mile. My only gripe would be the check in & out times. Midday to midday would be much better for the premium price you pay.

A truly beautiful house with warm atmosphere.The accommodation is self-catering so we brought our own food. The hamper was a pleasant gift. The house is very beautiful, lovely colours and objects all through. Work of talented interior designer with good taste. The kitchen offers everything you need! Beds and sofas were comfortable. We used the nice breakfast room next to the kitchen for all meals. The weather during our three night stay was mainly rainy and dull at its best. It didn't matter too much because we really enjoyed this lovely house and its cosy, warm atmosphere. Only once we went out to eat; had a tasty dinner in a Greek restaurant.
